About Vail Rock and Ice Guides, LLC

Vail Rock and Ice Guides has been teaching and guiding rock climbing in the Vail area since 1993. We began teaching and guiding ice climbing during the winter season of 2000-2001. We believe that the Vail, Colorado area is a great place for year round climbing and we can show you why. Our main objective is to provide our clients a fun, challenging, informative, outdoor climbing experience in and environment that is as controlled as possible. So whether you are a beginner wishing to learn, a more experience climber looking for a guide, a large corporate group, a summer camp, or a family with some young ones, Vail Rock and Ice Guides can create a climbing experience for your specific needs.

Each of our friendly, professional guides maintains at least a basic CPR/first aid rating, and possess an excellent understanding of climbing and its protection methods. Our extensive knowledge of the local climbing areas allows us to choose the proper climbing destination for you or your group.
